Tokens

Tokens are the digital currency of the ChessScanner web application. You use them to digitize games and access various features of the platform.

Your Tokens at a Glance

After logging in, you can always see your current token balance at the bottom left of the website. In your account area, you can also track how many tokens you have used and what they were used for.

When is a Token Used?

A token is only deducted if the digitization of your game is successful – that is, when a recognition probability of at least 70% is reached after generation or editing. If you have to manually adjust more than half of the moves before reaching this threshold, your token will not be deducted. Only one token is used per digitization process – even if you continue editing or regenerate the game later.

How Do You Get Tokens?

• Welcome Bonus: After registering, you receive 3 free tokens to try out the service.
• Purchase: You can buy more tokens at any time in your account area. There are different packages – the more you buy, the lower the price per token.
• Refer Friends: Share your referral link! For every successful registration via your link where the new user scans and saves at least one game, you receive 3 tokens – and your friend does too.

How Long Are Tokens Valid?

Your tokens are valid indefinitely as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, all remaining tokens will be irrevocably lost.
