Game Entry Options

ChessScanner offers various options for entering games in a tournament, which can be used depending on the circumstances and available equipment.

• Website: Games can be entered directly via the round view. This is particularly suitable when only a few games need to be recorded or no mobile device is available.
• Mobile App: The ChessScanner app for Android and iOS enables entry via smartphones or tablets. This is practical when many games need to be recorded in parallel.

When using the app, a distinction can be made as to whether the scoresheets are scanned during game entry or whether they have already been uploaded in advance on the website and assigned to the corresponding pairing.

If games are not entered ad hoc, it is recommended to scan all scoresheets in advance and upload them to the website. This way, games can be entered throughout the day without having to scan the scoresheets again.
