Cloud Synchronization of Games

With the latest version of the ChessScanner app and the release of the web application, it is now possible to save games in the cloud and synchronize them across multiple devices. This makes it possible, among other things, to view and analyze scanned games from the app on your smartphone directly in the web application on your computer.

Connecting to the Cloud

To connect your devices to your account, click the Connect Device button in the web application. A QR code will appear, which you can scan with the ChessScanner app.

To do this, open the ChessScanner app on your smartphone and go to the Account tab. There you will find the Scan Code button, which opens the QR code scanner.

After scanning the QR code, the connection is established and your games will be synchronized automatically.

Synchronizing Games

If automatic synchronization is enabled, your games will be automatically synchronized between the app and the web application. You can also manually trigger synchronization using the Synchronize button in the app.
